Argo Insurance

Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 4, 2026

Argo Insurance is the public brand of Argo Insurance Inc., a licensed independent insurance agency in Texas. This policy explains how the agency collects, uses, discloses, and protects information connected with this website, requests submitted through it, and communications resulting from those requests.

This policy does not replace a privacy notice provided by an insurance carrier, wholesaler, administrator, premium finance company, or other third party. Their practices are governed by their own notices and applicable law.

1. Information We Collect and Receive

We collect information that identifies, relates to, describes, references, is capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular consumer or device ("personal information").

  • Initial quote or contact requests: Name, phone, ZIP code, what you need, and any optional email, notes, deadlines, or documents you choose to provide.
  • Insurance service information: Address, date of birth, driver and vehicle details, VIN, property details, current coverage, insurance or loss history, and business information needed after the initial contact.
  • Technical and use data: IP address, device and browser type, visited pages, approximate time, referring site, campaign parameters, clicks, scrolling, and form steps.
  • Referrals and information about others: Contact and request details about a referred person, driver, employee, household member, or other person included in a request.
  • Job applications: Contact details, employment history, resume, cover letter, and information an applicant chooses to submit.

Do not put Social Security numbers, full payment-card numbers, medical details, or other highly sensitive information in an open notes field or attachment unless an authorized Argo representative gives you an appropriate method.

2. Where Information Comes From

We receive information from you, a person you authorize, your device or browser, and, when insurance services are requested or authorized, carriers, general agents, wholesalers, consumer-information sources, and other insurance participants. Consumer reports are obtained only with the notices and authorizations required by law.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following business purposes:

  • Respond to quote, coverage, proof, certificate, renewal, and service requests.
  • Prepare and submit information to carriers and other insurance markets that may handle the request.
  • Manage requests, policies, renewals, documents, communications, and relationship records.
  • Route leads, preserve attribution and delivery results, prevent fraud, maintain security, improve the site, and meet legal or recordkeeping duties.

4. When We Share Information

We may share your information with:

  • Insurance markets and participants: Carriers, general agents, wholesalers, brokers, premium finance companies, inspectors, and providers involved in the requested quote, placement, or service.
  • Operations providers: Hosting, form delivery, email, communications, client management, storage, security, fraud prevention, analytics, and technical support services.
  • Authorities, advisors, transactions, and your directions: When reasonably needed for law, safety, fraud, disputes, a business transaction, or delivery to a person you name.

Mobile phone numbers and text-message opt-in data are not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

5. Forms, Spam Security, and Providers

Website requests may be sent to Argo systems and, as a delivery backup, processed by Web3Forms. Forms use hCaptcha, operated by Intuition Machines, Inc., to distinguish people from automated activity and reduce spam and abuse.

6. Cookies, Local Storage, and Analytics

The site uses browser storage to remember your privacy choice and may keep first-visit attribution, source, navigation, conversion diagnostics, and abuse-prevention information on your device. This helps preserve request context and verify whether a form was accepted.

7. Optional Analytics

Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity load only after you select Accept in the privacy notice. They may measure page views, device, referral, clicks, scrolling, performance, and use sessions. You can select Decline to prevent these optional tools from loading, or clear argotx.com storage and cookies to reset your choice.

8. Provider Privacy Information

Read the privacy policies of Google, Microsoft, Web3Forms, and hCaptcha for details about their processing. Sensitive input fields are protected by the privacy features configured for these tools.

9. Data Security and Retention

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse.

We retain information as reasonably needed to handle a request, provide services, maintain insurance and business records, meet legal or regulatory duties, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. The period varies by record and relationship, and providers apply their own retention schedules.

10. Calls, Texts, Email, and WhatsApp

When you submit a request and provide contact details, Argo may respond about that request by call, text, email, or WhatsApp, subject to applicable law. Frequency varies and message or data rates may apply. Consent to automated or marketing messages is not a condition of buying insurance. Reply STOP to a marketing text, use an unsubscribe link in marketing email, or contact us to change preferences.

11. Payments and Third-Party Links

The site may link to carrier portals, payment providers, apps, partner products, or other external sites. Argo generally does not collect full payment-card numbers through public website forms. Information submitted directly to a third party is governed by that party's site and privacy practices.

12. Your Privacy Choices and Requests

Depending on your residence, the information, and legal exemptions, you may have rights to confirm processing, request access or a copy, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, or object to certain uses. Some insurance information is governed by insurance, financial-privacy, or consumer-reporting laws and may be exempt from a general state privacy law.

Email [email protected] with Privacy Request in the subject, call (346) 241-0000, or write to the address below. We may reasonably verify your identity and authority. If an applicable request is denied and appeal rights apply, reply with Privacy Appeal. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable right.

13. Children and Information About Others

The site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information directly from a child under 13 through this site without appropriate authorization. Before submitting information about another person, confirm you have authority and that the person understands how Argo may use or respond to it. Do not send sensitive data through the referral form.

14. Policy Changes

We may update this policy when the site, providers, or law changes. We will post the revised version here and change the updated date. We will provide additional notice when required by law.
